The ideal candidates will have a post-graduate or professional degree (Atmospheric Sciences, Climate, Geography, or Engineering) and 3‐5 years of experience in climate related assessments/analysis, climate change adaptation, and extreme weather-related impacts.
Ideal candidates will also possess strong research skills and demonstrated experience communicating scientific concepts/results to a wide spectrum of stakeholder audiences, as well as demonstrated experience with statistical analyses of climate/weather data and climate change projection information.
Knowledge of/experience with risk assessment frameworks such as PIEVC, ICLEI BARC, and ISO 31 000 would be an asset.
